Control Panels - The preferred method of control is using a Control Panel from Crestron, AMX, or other control manufacturer. We have a full set of telnet commands published in our: Installation Guide - DX Camera Module and Equal-i 2S Image Processor. We have modules for the following control systems and Operating Systems:
PC, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone Control Apps - If you don’t have a control system you will need to provide a dedicated tablet or laptop in the room for system control. Installation technicians can use these control applications for system set up.
Best Practice: Add a dedicated tablet to the room with a stand and dedicated charger. In addition to the Equal-i Control App we recommend the control applications for the displays, codec, installed audio, wireless data share, and any other applications used in the room or helpful to client’s employees (Company Intranet, Help Desk, Company Directory, Skype4Business, etc.) . Lock the tablet down in Kiosk mode and set it to “Brick” if it walks away.
